Hi all,

I've created a bunch of basic servicing procedures from the Audi Techs manual. I'll add a few more to this thread as I create them (spark plugs etc).

They're all in PDF form and *only* the procedures are included, there are no part numbers included for the bits that need replacing. This is to prevent people buying the wrong parts if the part number changes in future.

For Part Numbers I'd use Parts Base but there are other websites out there.

C6_RS6_Replace_Pollen_Filter

C6_RS6_Front_Ceramic_Brakes

Some useful info there Ian. I might fit my ITG filters tomorrow. Have you got one for the spark plugs too?

Well the air filters were no big deal. Took less than 10 minutes a side. Audi charge a fortune to replace them

The guide says the engine needs to be pulled up an inch for access which MRC say is rubbish so I've not made a general guide for the plugs but if you want a copy with the "pull engine" method I can PM you one later today.

If it's no bother then yes please but it's only nuts and bolts at the end of the day, how hard can it be? I'm sure there will be a trick to getting the rear 2 plugs out

Due to the baffling "30 minute only" edit window which I've not seen on any other website in 20 years of internet use and which makes it very frustrating trying to keep "How To's" upto date, here are two new bits as a seperate post which no-one will notice because they're not in the top post with the rest of the links -

Spark Plugs Added and the broken Brake Pads Link from the OP fixed.

It's all here for the record, which is the main thing, thank you. Partly thanks to the limited window for editing

Is the editing locked for Mods too so no-one can add my links to the top post?

Would these guides be irrelevant to the S6? I know they're different engines but they're related I presume, and hopefully not entirely different?

Some, like the brakes and gearbox, will be similar in most respects but I wouldn't use any of the engine ones as the 5.2 V10 is a completely different engine to the 5.0 V10 Twin Turbo, irrespective of the fact they're both VW V10's.

eBay is probably your best bet for a S6 workshop guide.
