Hi folks,

Just taken ownership of a cracking C5 RS6 that's had a conservative MRC tune, loving the car but I've got a couple of issues that I'd like some collective wisdom on please

My issues surround the audio system. I love my music (whether it be D&B, Classic Rock, 80s, anything with a rhythm and deep bass!) however what's in the car is woefully inadequate.

My 6 has got the stock RNS-D unit in there and whilst listening to the FM radio is fine (content / finding a good tune permitting), the aftermarket XCarlink (SKU 143) + A2DP BT system that came with the car is only playing treble and some mids only.

It doesn't sound like a ground issue as you can clearly hear each L + R channel, there's just no presence to it. I need the bass. I'm incomplete without the bass!

Anyone got any experiences with this system and perhaps know how to fix it? Is it a stick it in the bin job?

Also, the RNS-D system in general, what are the upgrade options? I feel the stock head unit is showing its age (it's a 15 year old system after all).

I've been toying with building a double DIN car computer using a 7" touchscreen and LattePanda Windows 10 board - I have a 3D printer and I'm not afraid to use it
