Dunno about everyone else but it was the most severe frost I can ever remember this morning

Could not get the ice off the window glass because it was so thick, then could not open the bloody doors either. Had to resort to warm water on the seals, which never works well

Beautiful day so long as you don't have to go anywhere!

-17 in Benson, Oxfordshire.
-9.5 in Oxford

I took my dad to work this morning as his car just couldn't move.

The doors were stuck shut too. I had to put defrost spray all round the seals and windows to get them open.

If your struggling to get your car doors open try not to pull and pull at it, you risk splitting the rubbers and then suffering with whistle sounds from poor seals in the future.

Try giving the door frame a firm tap with the base of your hand and just work around the frame until the door free's.  Just be careful not to so harsh as to crack the glass!

How about using a heat gun on a low setting?
