Well I'm a sucker for an audi avant!

Picked this up last weekend in hlaifax!

Its a 2.0e 8v 115hp!! 1994 Got a whopping 143k on the clock.

I'm pretty chuffed with it actually.  It came with a few jobs done, but as always, a good run back up the road to Aberdeenshire has revealed a good few more.  Wasn't expecting it to be mint that's for sure.  The bodywork is in cracking condition, the front wings need changing, but the car came with two genuine wings already painted and ready to go on the car, bonus!  The interior is a dark blue cloth with dark grey carpets, and is also in cracking condition!  The other jobs done are.. came with new radiator, new coilover suspension including new top mounts, new handbrake cable, new timing belt kit. Also came with the original 15" alloys and tyres.

Here's some pics....

So list of jobs to do...

Change front wings - rusty..
Change rear discs and pads - needs doing tbh..
Change rear caliper n/s/r - sticking..
Change front discs and pads - wobble under braking and are getting low anyway.
Drivers door handle - its a bit loose..
Cv joints - starting to make a clicking noise..
Odometer and trip - not working, could be a cog on the inside which is worn..
Sunroof slide - tilt works, slide doesn't
Front floor mats - needs some..
Foam bit at front under bonnet - missing on one side
Balance original wheels - just because..

Buy spigot rings - done
Bonnet adjust for closing - done
Balance Oz wheels - done
Check slider pins on rear brakes - done

The wheels are Oz wheels 7x17j, et37 pcd 4x108 cb 63.4 so i've bought spigot rings! It didn't have any!

I really like that!! Very 90's touring car on those wheels!
I'd love something  like that!

Good enough to take priority in the garage over the UR or RS

Getting really quite rate to see an 80 running about, nice one!

The ur is in the top garage and I'll be putting the RS back in the garage once I've got the brakes done!  Can always put the RS up on the ramp and the 80 underneath!!  Always a solution!! Haha.

@ G, yeh, fund a sweet spot at about 74 where it didn't judder so badly! Haha, sorry meant 64!!

@CJ thanks bud, I'm sure it won't be on the drive forever, so I'll give you a shout when the time comes

Looks splendid. Rare old character car

Where did you get your Quattro banner from by the way?

I love these - had a tdi avant as my first get around car (It was my Dad's and worth a fair few grand back then!).

Loads of Banner's on eBay (maybe not quite as big as Guy's).
