Im going to a stag do in Sept in South Wales and the groom is a big Quattro fan so the best man is trying to get one to hire or similar so he can drive it from Cardiff to Tenby where were staying.

Does anyone know of such a thing or anyone in the area that might be able to help?  He's not a young un so wouldn't be doing anything untoward in it.

Would you let a total stranger drive the car....?

He is a sensible chap, obviously willing to pay expense, insurance etc etc.

Its in Sept.

PM me if you think its better.

Their quattro is currently off the road again.I had a 7 day hire bought for me as a present over a  year ago but still unable to use it as the car was crashed last year and needed a rebuild. Then it was back on the road and some guy brought it back with more issues.

There is an article on the Great Escapes ur quattro in this month's Audi Driver. Some of the damage has been caused by customers not understanding the diff lock, so they've now removed the knob (presume they are not referring to a customer)!
