Another one I've done (Mazda) but sometimes nice to see detailing work no matter what the car.

The whole detail took me approx. 26 hours but overall I was very happy with the results.

Pre-Wash: First up was to use Meguiars Engine Degreaser and APC on all the door shuts, engine bay and petrol cap. I then applied Bilberry wheel cleaner to the wheels and Valet Pro Citrus pre-wash to the body, allowing 10 minutes for it to work before Snow foaming all over with Autobrite Direct Magifoam and agitated around badges and grills. After some time I then rinsed it off and began the washing stages.

Wheel Clean: Using Carchem Shampoo, various brushes and mitts I washed the wheels, inside and out and cleaned under the arches and tyre walls with Meguiars APC.
Body Clean: Again, using Carchem Shampoo and a wash mitt, I washed the bodywork of the car and rinsed using an Aqua Gleam filter.

Cleanse Stage: First I used Iron-x on the wheels and body then rinsed off and dried. Next was an application of Tardis to lower body and wheels which was then rinsed, washed and rinsed again. The final stage was Auto Finesse Clay bar to body and glass with one final wash, rinse and dry before moving inside.

Interior: Glass and mirrors were cleaned using Gtechniq G6 glass cleaner, plastics cleaned with Meguiars APC and dressed with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber care. Fabrics, mats and carpets vacuumed and cleaned using Autoglym interior shampoo.

Engine Bay: Wipe down with Meguiars APC and dressed plastics using Aerospace 303 protectant.

Machine Polish: A range of paint depth readings were taken to understand the thickness I had to work with and certain areas to take care with. Products of choice were Scholl S17 followed by S30 to refine, using the range of Scholl polishing pads. In many areas most of the scratches were removed, but where they were too deep the machine took the edge off them by quite a bit. This was then followed by Poorboys Blackhole on a finishing pad to add a sealing layer before the wax.
Finally I applied 2 coats of Blackfire Midnight Sun natural carnauba wax which really done a lovely job on the dark metallic paint.

Wheel & Exhaust Polish: Wheel faces and exhausts were polished with Autoglym Super Resin polish, each nut removed to allow access for polishing and followed by 2 coats of FK1000p high temperature sealant.

Glass Treatment: Exterior windows treated to Gtechniq G1 nano glass, 1 coat all round with 3 coats to the windscreen and wiper blades cleaned using Meguiars APC.

Finishing Touches: All door shuts, under bonnet and petrol cap were wiped down with Autoglym Aqua Wax, glass cleaned with Gtechniq G6, plastics dressed with Autoglym / Meguiars and tyres dressed with Blackfire tyre gel. Finally I went over the car with Blackfire Midnight Sun spray wax to ensure the paint work was in perfect condition.
