So i claybar my cars once a year then polish and wax. Normally i then wash the cars when dirty and add a bit of wax when dried. Am i doing this right? The paintwork feels a little 'gritty' after a couple of months, but claybarring then polish and wax is so time consuming.

There must be a better way of keeping the paintwork silky smooth and shiny

Thanks in advance
Simon

I use Megures claybar Kyle.

I am thinking the only way to keep the paintwork tip top is to basically do the full monty every month to get the finish I am after. I live in a heavily polluted area (traffic wise) and wonder if that has any bearing. Years ago I lived in the sticks and never had this problem.
