It was at long last really great to get the old girl back on the road this weekend just gone. Still got a ton load of things to do but this is to be a labour of love, so no rush...lol

I am needing to get new set of break line\hoses fitted as the current ones are old, worn and worst still, cracked. I've have been advised that the better brands to go for are Goodridge and or Hel.

Can anyone offer an explanation as to which is the better and why?

And where might be the best competitively priced place to source a kit?

I've noted that some places (online) indicate that it can take up to two weeks to get these made up and delivered, is that about right as I am keen to get this done this week?

Cheers fellas

I used HEL and they made me up a custom set for 70 which arrived in about 3 days. Very happy with them.

hey there,

Thanks for getting back to me

I've looked on the Hel website and spoken to their customer services and they only specify for the Audi 100 Quattro (1989 - 1991), see link below..

Do you know if this one can ben used on the 1994 URS4 model?
Is this the one you bought, maybe?

The guy I spoke to at Hel could not be 100% sure!!!

Hope to order tomorrow if I can verify this info..

I would just photograph each end of the hose and measure the length with string. They were happy to make up a custom set for me as I was fitting upgraded brakes.
