Just wondering what a c7 S6 drivetrain can take compared to  the c7 RS6 with the different gearbox and slightly different engine.

Tuning for the S6 will be considerably cheaper when using RS6 turbos offcourse, like S4 using RS4 parts.

But never seem to stumble upon any info regarding this

I like the idea of a rs6 saloon.

Sportmile have done at least one high power S6, might be worth searching for that to see what is documented about the gearbox.

It's something I'm looking at (S6 with RS6 turbos) in a few years time. It's getting more popular over in the US where there's a small tuner scene for the S6 but I haven't read anywhere about gearbox blowing up yet so I'm hopeful that it'll be able to take 700-750hp and 950nm without too many issues.

One thing I wouldn't do is many LC launches. The GB ECU is limited to 200 LC's, any more and LC stops working which requires a new mechatronic unit to fix *IF* you want to use LC again, otherwise it's fine.

We can fix the 200 launches limit in C7 S6 TCUs and other types too!
