16th August 2015 Noggy Meet

So, just to confirm things are really happening regarding the.........

Ultimate Noggy Meet.

Here are some details of the day, beautifully put together by José, who is our main man on the day who will be taking all our pics and vids etc and making sure this is an event to savour.

The day is going to be very tight for time, particularly in the morning with only a couple of hours at Stowe, and so as such, we will appreciate everybody being both prompt and following directions of the photographers and marshals.
We will also be publishing a schedule of planned shots along with the timescales and will need attendees to have studied these so that when you are given a direction you have some idea of what it means! It is going to be a bit regimented but doing this will ensure we get the absolute best out of the time available and that everyone gets their individual shots etc. Rest assured though the post lunch activities will be far more relaxing!

This thread is designed just to promote the event and ensure that we advertise it in a way that everyone can have a good idea of what is planned on the day and as such we ask you not to post comments here so we can keep it clean with only organisational updates.

Due to the timescales involved at Stowe we have set a limit of 20 cars this year and we only have a few places left, so be quick to secure your place.

The cost for the day is £50 (food/drink are additional)

For payment details, please pm me.

We are due to meet and start proceedings at NN12 6TQ from 9:00am

If you have any queries etc etc

please PM me

or for further nonsence/details/banter/nonsence/banter (be prepared for a long read)

As it is only 3 weeks tomorrow for the UNM, some of you who are travelling from far will need to organise fuel stops.

2 weeks to go people!

We've got a nice juicy update for you all to dig into

The below link has the basic shot layouts that are being planned.
You have all been assigned a 'Car ID Number' - please familiarise yourself with it - it shall be your name for the day!

To aid us in getting all the cars in the right spots for each shot it will help a lot if you guys have an idea of what we are aiming for, so take a look at the diagrams and where you will be, who you will be next to etc.
We will be printing a set so you will have a hard copy on the day also.

We've tried our best to make sure everyone gets a chance to be centre at some point, so the 7th car isn't always parked on the end! As you know, there are strict time restrictions at Stowe so we hope you understand if we have to use some of the short programme mentioned within the document (but we are hopeful this will not be the case).
Should the short programme come into effect we will make sure the group shots at the scenic location (for which there is no formal plan) give those cars that missed out at Stowe the chance to bask in the limelight at that point.

Any questions please post them on the other chit-chat thread (handy link) or PM Mike/Prash/Myself.

Thanks again for your support and we look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks

Sorry to post in the no discussion thread, but thought it might help to give a heads up. Don't rely on Shell in Towcester for your good stuff. I work 1 minute from there, but have stopped using it as they've sold out more often than they have it. Very strange. Just bare that in mind.

Have fun you crazy Smurfs.
Noggymike

We have agreed with Buddies that this is the best menu for the day, as everyone can have a good fixed price choice, plus it will help the staff with turning around 20+ meals asap and ease of payment per person etc

We have also secured parking reservations in the carpark, although we need to be good at "sardines"

I'll just leave this here...

The diamond may or may not have had 2-3 hours of photoshopping.

(main issue is Mike is some kind of grass nut freak, so I had to make sure the stripes still lined up else his OCD would have seen him implode!)
josedebardi

Edition Noggy have also found you a new Porker Seb!

Challice

Just seen that on bookface...epic
Paz
