2000 FL b5 s4 saloon nogaro blue 480bhp rs6 turbos *feeler*

Well I think, and I mean that litterally, I want a change. I'm just not sure what I want truth be told. It's not the s4's fault, I really have no reason to want to sell this car. It's the colour I wanted in saloon, got the right interior and all the upgrades you will see below. I just fancy something new I think I might buy a golf r. So I'm putting this out seeing how people feel about it and see what sort of interest I get.
Ok so it's a 2000 x reg b5 s4 saloon. The car has 124000 on it but I had a problem with my last engine so it has a genuine 76k mile engine in it, I think I have pics of the clocks of the car it came from somewhere, it's done a few k since then I guess it's 79 or 80k now.
The cars hip clear no accident damge. It's for the odd carpark dent and scratch and a few bits of paint need sorted to make it a1. There a lot of money spent on this car, by myself and the previous owner.
The previous owner had the car for like 7 or 8 years prior to selling to Me, so far as I know he bought it from the garage the original purchaser traded it in. It's not had many owners and the last two have been enthusiasts. I have quite a lot of history and receipts for this car many from me and the previous owner aswell. I also have loads of pictures of the decent engine replacement and the dyno printout from unicorn. Even rick said himself it's a solid car with all the right bits and well put together.
Engine.
Late engine complete with later style intake manifold. The engine was stripped to a block and heads all gaskets and seals rec replaced with genuine items. Facelift exhaust manifolds checked for cracks etc. Lightweight flywheel with luk rs4 pressure plate and rs4 friction plate modified with 5 paddle ceramettalic disc by the clutch specialists. New spigot and pilot bearing installed and new flywheel and clutch cover bolts used. Lightweight engine pulley installed with new main crank bolt. New skf timing belt kit with damper installed new thermostat and waterpump and stainless bolts used. New can seals etc whilst off. The turbos are genuine rs6 units modified and reconditioned at the turbounit and fitted with updated turbines and shafts. These are resistant to high egt cracking as the original ones were prone to. All new bolts/studs/nuts/gaskets and sealing washers used to fit these on and the manifolds. Rs4 intercoolers with Apr pipes and an apr bi pipe. This has been drilled and tapped and runs a dual nozzle devilsown water meth kit using the screen wash as the tank. Genuine rs4 turbo inlets fitted. The car has the 034 motorsport x34 air intake kit fitted aswell. Siemens deal 630cc injectors along with a Bosch 044 in tank pump fitted in a modified v8 basket. The car runs a wideband in one downpipe with a aem boost/are meter with on board datalogging via usb mounted in one dash vent. The downpipes are toyosport rs6 flange 3"taper to 2.5" and heat wrapped in titanium. Come with non 're link pipes and catted link pipes for the test. The exhaust was custom built by pipedynamix and runs a single silence 3.5" pipe from the link pipes back, it sounds incredible.
It's got the toyguy short shifter and work motorsport weighted shift knob on there too. The rear diff seals were replaced along with new fluid. New gearbox fluid. New pas fluid. New coolant and new brake fluid in the time I've owned it. The engine has Miller's nanodrive 10w50 and a genuine filter. New lambda sensors fitted. New platinum ngk spark plugs. New Bosch maf. New drive belt and tensioner fitted. Viscous fan delete. Silicone spider hose. Cam covers powder coated wrinkle coat red and new garkets with stainless bolts.
The map is rick from unicorn 480bhp 660nm torque, printout provided. The car pulls hard until the redline. It's very fast make no mistake. It's got a switchable map with antilag which I've not used as I can't get it to work bit it's there if you ask rick I'm sure he would help. It's got flat shift and launch control. I've never once launched it because tbh I don't wantbto have to pull the engine to change the clutch again. I don't track or drag strip the car so it's pointless ruining a good clutch. Only ever ran on Tesco 99 or v power.

Chassis
H&R coilovers H&R anti roll vars front and rear. Hotchkiss subframe braces. APR engine snub mount. AWE DTS. Poly diff hanger bushes and stern power ring.
8pot front brakes from a b7 rs4 with paid pad and braided lines.
I was told larger rear brakes but never confirmed but they do have ebc yellow stuff pads. 18" mtm bi moto replica wheels, few kerb marks nothing too bad though.

Exterior
Nogaro blue, genuine rs4 front bumper unfortunately this cracked near the mount it has been repaired but needs a fill and paint to be perfect. Rs4 grille. Cupra r front spiltter. Tailgate lip spoiler. Led side and numberplate lights. Tinted rear windows. The tailgate handle and lower lip of tailgate along with the bottom of the drivers wing need painted. I had them done years ago by the paint has gone funny and needs 're doing. New inner arch liners to the front as one was cracked. Bosch aero wipers.

Inside
Sports pack blue alcantara seats, tiny hole in drivers looks like it was punctured not burnt though. Blue weave carbon trim. Awe pedals. Wot weighted gear knob. Boost/are in vent. S4 mats. Sony bluetooth headunit with correct adapter for all speakers working. Couple of pixels on the display don't work the usual.

This car will crack 500bhp easy if the intercoolers are changed. I've seen lesser cars listed in 5 figures recently but this needs the bits of paint done I was waiting to get my mate to do it as I know he knows how particular I am. I'll get it done if needs be but thought I'd list it now while I have the time and see how the interest goes.

id offer you 5500, bit out the price range and quite expensive.....

8500 is no way.. at this time of year or spec.

Lol. Tell that to the dude on k04s wanting 12500. Welcome to b5 land they aren't cheap cars fella. Wait till you try to build one this spec then come back. Thanks for the interest though

I bought my K04'd S4 for 6k and have spent more than that again getting it in good shape.

8.5k is a good price - not sure what the time of year has got to do with it?

Worth every penny of 8500 in my opinion. Looks like a well finished car. GLWS

*Similar here. Reckon around 25K+ has gone in to mine over the years.

when mine comes back from ben id sell for no less than 15k but I have pumped 20k +into it in 5 yr, forget this you never get back what you spend, yes to an extend, but anyone who values b5,s wont take the mick, in the know that if the mods and work has been done, don't be an idiot and disrespect the seller its energy draining dealing with people like that ps sorry to comment on your ad but it boils my urine

Hahaha thanks for the comments guys she's a good old motor I think the price is fair and reflects the money spent and the current going rate pretty well. It's fair to say it's had an awful lot more than the asking price spent on mods alone. 5500 is not happening not even close.

It's also been raining today where I live - so that won't help with the price.

Lots of interest via whatsapp yes. Infact the car has been offered to somebody pending deposit. I'll update the thread when it's recieved. I won't discuss the price the new owner is paying.
