B5 S4 electrical gremlins!i have a couple of electrical gremlins with my 1999 s4 and would appreciate any help
1-clock on dash stuck at 12:00(analogue)tried disconnecting battery reconnecting and leaving for 24hours but still nothing(instrument cluster has recently been removed for lcd repair and clock hasnt moved from 12:00 since it was refitted)
2-cd autochanger goes through the cd load procedure everytime the ignition is switched off,so everytime i get in my car i have to wait a couple of minutes then it always goes to cd1 track1 !
Any ideas? are there any hidden fuses??

No permanant live to the multi changer? That would cause that problem!

Its only just started doing it today,but i wondered if the clock problem may be linked??

Fuse? Cant see how the 2 could be connected?

on the connector diagram on the top of the radio it says clock on 2 of the 3 plugs that are linked together? is it possible that the time clock and cd changer get their permanant feed from the radio?

Does you changer have a 13 pin plug?

Well,i have sussed the clock thanks to olds kool  turned out that when the clocks were reasembled after repair the fingers on the clock were pushed on to far,so just tweaked em off a bit and sorted 
As for the cd changer,it has a round plug with i think 9 pins(i will check).Also while digging about under the drivers side dash i have found another bunch of fuses that arent listed in the handbook

Yes my changer has got a 13pin round plug
UPDATE! my changer has shat itself altogether,jammed solid and refused to spit the magazine out  so maybe the changer was at fault all along??
Anyhoo,i am on the lookout for a 6 disc changer with the round 13pin plug

you got the magazine out? does it try to spit it out but too jammed to release?
Loomx has a spare changer for sale, ask him.

yep,got it out now,had to split the case and wind it out manually but its gone dead
will contact loomx to see if he still has his changer
