B7 RS4 v8 4.2 FSI - LPG Conversion?Hi Guys,
So as you know I am torn as to what to do next...
2010 Rangey Sport TDV6
335D
LOVE the Rangey - MPG OKAY but it will be slow + cost over 850 a month on lease
335D will be lovely, but just think I wont be happy
Then I thought about a rangey supercharger with LPG
Then the penny dropped... RS4 with LPG? I believe because of FSI the petrol injectors HAVE to be working or else they will get damaged without fuel cooling them, but there are kits out there that can do 25% petrol 75% LPG - not seen anything for the RS4 though.
Has anyone come across anything online or seen a co that does the RS4? I would just use LPG for dull trips, switch to good fuel for a bit of fun as and when.
I will then also have a great base chassis to look at an R36 turbo conversion one day - then I can get the Rangey I have always wanted
Let me know thoughts, comments, experience etc.

I've only seen a few cars with LPG conversions, and one of them was an S8. They were all really bad conversions with cocked up pipes & wiring looms everywhere. None of them run right, and a chrysler voyager kept backfiring blowing the airbox to pieces! I haven't seen any newish conversions, but it would take something that performed well and was really well fitted before my faith in LPG covnersions is restored. Just my 2p.

Sounds interesting, would sort the oil baking on problem also I guess...?
Why dont you think you would be happy with a 335?

335 just too common, too boring. Amazing car... 40+ MPG - great! But just sooo many on the road.
There are some very good LPG converters out there.
