Back in an S4 after two years!!

Almost two years exactly after I sold my lovely 2001 b5 s4 (regretted it, the very second I watched it leave my drive) I have today finally taken ownership of a great (almost near identical) replacement.

Andrew (Hereford on here) has to take all the credit for its current condition, a genuine honest owner that has amassed 275000+ miles but has never neglected what needed doing.

So all that was left for me to do was endure a 'spirited' 3hr drive home from nigh on the Welsh border, and I have to say I was blown away by how bloody good it was.

Future plans are to just drive it as is and enjoy it through the Autumn and winter, refreshing any niggling little parts etc, and then next year look at making major changes and performances improvements to all the usual suspects...

So a quick pic

Looking forward to a long time with this one and hoping to double the mileage

Not your fault, mate..

The resemblance and circumstances around buying this one were identical to my old (your) one, it was eerily uncanny. Even down to the wheel choice

Hope you've got further with the insurance value pay out?

Cheers, good to be back properly, not as hard to stay away as it was to be without petrol and a pair of turbos propelling me along

Great to see you got yourself a B5 again Steve. No pickup truck next meet now

Cheers Drew, how's your noggy going?

I'm gonna use the truck to trailer the s4 to all the meets
NogaroDrew

Noggy going well mate. Full Milltek cat back and downpipes on now and waiting for my 18z conversion parts to come in post. Hopefully catch up soon again mate

So a few months of ownership, I've barely driven the s4 as the missus has been using it as her daily ever since.,,

Had a few bits and bobs done at MRC over the summer, as they're only over the road from where I work and their service has been impeccable, thanks guys.

Yesterday the old girl went in to MRC again for nothing more than an MoT, and she passed without a single sniff of a problem... Woohoo. And to make matters even better, she's back to being my daily driver so I'm proper happy.

Gratuitous wash-and-polish pictures...

McTavish

About time you started to drive it again dude. What plans you got for it ?
GT-steve

Cheers Miles,

No plans at the moment, was all set to get a recaro interior but I've had to put all mods on hold at the moment due to circumstances.

more importantly I'm driving it again
