Blue smoke on high revs :/

Hi guys,

A bit of problem   Today I just notice that I get a blue smoke on higher revs and I was told that it will be a small amount of oil from turbos - if I leave
it sitting for a while and rev it hard then I can get a puff of smoke - it
is really common on cars with no back pressure in exhaust.

Is this true as I never notice it before also I have changes the oil few days ago.

And there is no smoke at all when the car is on idle :/ plus no noise from turbos either :/

Here is a video:

Nez, sorry I can't help you with your post but off topic, your exhaust sounds nice and deep.    love it!

I found the problem it's over oil :/ just checked the oil level and the oil is over to mix level :/

Hmmm, if true I'd be more worried about a reputable tuner getting the tea boy to do oil changes??

Why does this make the car smoke?

Looks like you had miles too much oil in that?

Don't even talk about it man, I hate the S4 coils packs I wish I had the Money to go for the 2.0T coil mod

What happens is that the oil is high enough that the crankshaft whips the oil so that it gets air in it. Also, it often gets on the cylinder walls, making it hard for the rings to seal. (that's where the smoke is coming from)

Do you have an oil cooler Nez? If so, maybe worth checking to see that it's getting hot.

it's a real nice WB Nez
Doug

oil cooler sits higher than the oil level so you will need to check when oil is warm and running and filled the oil cooler not when it has drained or engine has stopped

Now just over the max before it was very high but I will try to get the picture of it with engine running and engine off

If it was overfilled, where did it leak?
