Nice pair!

Would love to have an RS2 and RS4 (B5) to go with my 6.  Might also need a B7 cab for the noise on a nice day...

In all respect cant really compare the two because the "4" has been remapped, milltek downpipes and exhaust ,coilovers, ARBs etc.
But you cant beat that "kick" in your back and 5 pot "growl"
S4

That is just plain greedy....

Nice

Good luck with them both.

As you well know these cars are a labour of love/hate.Your absolutely right with the term "olde". Just replaced the rear discs, pads and shoes as the handbrake was shite and was a measly 10% on the MOT. After replacing the above and a light smear of copper grease it's actually locks the wheels now.Next up will be to strip down the suspension and replace bushes , bearings and shocks. Iirc you had yours done? Did you go for original factory spec boge or bilsteins?
pjbRs

A very nice pair of S's, could get very expensive running two.

All original spec (bilsteins i think I'll look it up, came in a porsche box they did) and it transformed the car (sits high for a bit but in cornwall thats good). The top mounts are an annual thing (twice so far) but I'm lucky the bushes on mine are tight so not needed yet.
Did the rear discs and pads on mine 3 months ago, all original spec, the fronts are about a year old so brakes are wonderful.
They are a labour of love but I like it at present, but I suspect I have a cv on the way and I do have problems getting good petrol.
Good luck
