I noticed that every headteacher they interviewed on TV yesterday said the same thing.. "I'm striking to show support for my lower paid colleagues". A member of my family is a head teacher and she said the same thing on the phone to me, I'm afraid I lost it with her.
I also noticed on the news that after the strikers and marchers got to their destination, they all dumped their placards on the pavement and bu&&ered off home. Leaving their mess to be cleared up by some of the lowest paid council workers ... who weren't striking! How do they reconcile telling the kids in school not to drop litter, and then elave placards everywhere. Sorry, some guys are now putting me in a comfy white canvas jacket and taking me to a room filled with foam..... /rantoff |

Also bare in mind recent evidence to Leveson pointing out that the vast majority of the gutter press operate without leaving an office and either make it up or take it from somewhere else, whether factual or not, so will simply report an idealogical point of view to suit their argument. There were reports elsewhere yesterday stating all placards were neatly placed in bins for recycling at the end of the march

Ahh of course, the TV pictures I saw last night must have been for a march in Iran then, odd that the placards had Iranain word like "pension", "NUT" and "UNISON" on them ... we've so much in common. Placed in recycle bins my ar$e. |

It amazes me too! I just smile, laugh or cringe at lots of his controversial stuff, but never offended. If he meant it seriously, then maybe people would have a point, but he doesn't!! |

I'm not a fan exactly but come on peeps don't you realise by now he is just a total wind up merchant!
The day I start taking Clarkson seriously I will get my head examined. And all those that do should IMHO. |

Oh yeah, totally agree, he's a wind up merchant and he loves nothing better than winding up all those tight wads who love nothing better to do than find something to whinge about. Oh, wait, Clarkson kinda falls also into this category

+1 If you get upset by what JC has to say then you may need to go out and get a life. One thing did me make me laugh though - and that was that the unions demanded he loses his job. Oh the irony........ |
