Changing front indicator bulbs?

Hi, Sorry if this has been posted before but I was trying to change my front indicator bulbs for silver ones but can't work out how you are supposed to remove them. I am a new Audi owner and trying not to break things wherever possible, any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can do it 1 of 2 ways, in through arch liners or remove front bumper & remove headlights themselves, which in my experence is the easiest way.

Ah, so not that easy then, how do the connectors come apart? First section seems to have a kind of clip i've seem before on VWs but I couldn't see whether there was one at the bottom as well. Then there's a second section, different kind of clip and again could only see one side. Thought perhaps the first one just removed the wiring and second the bulb holder, can anyone confirm if I am right or not. cheers.

IIRC the bulb comes as one whole housing/glass unit as such.

Also I just remembered, confusion.com, the indicators are on the inner lense, so you maybe able to get your hand into the 1st cover open area to unclip & pull out from under bonnet, have a look with a torch tonight as its better at night tbh, daylight is a hindrance.

OK will give it a go.

As above, the 2 sections come off as one and are really just a multi plug for the wiring, i.e. no bulb holder or access to the bulb to remove/replace. There doesn't look like enough space in the main headlamp access cover either to get to the indicator, so still a bit stuck I am afraid, I wondered if there was anything I can't see under the indicator wiring, does anyone have a picture of a light off the car or an exploded diagram??

The grey bulb holder with wire on end just twists mate, so you can extract the whole thing, remove the bulb unit, swap & refit.

The engine bay is tight but you can get the rubber cover of the inner area of the headlight & just about see in there, best to do at night.

Thanks for that, I had another look after scouring the net for pictures and the bulb holder is behind the wiring plug I referred to above, i.e. even  further away and harder to reach but I have seen it now and can confirm it does exist . I thnk possibly the easiest thing would be to access it from the inner arch cover as suggested above   .
