Dying of Cream Leather Interior Parts

Hi All,

I am looking to sort out some niggles I have with my S4.

The main one being the car used to have a cream leather interior before I switched it out for black leather recaros.

Now question I have is, Has anyone ever dyed the Leather Arm Rest and the Leather part of the door cards successfully and if so was it effective cheap? Or am I as well coughing up for the real McCoy from a breaker?

Thanks

I would personally do the latter, I can't see that end result being that great by just dying, especially on high wear areas, but would be happy to be proven wrong of course!

BTW if you do decide to buy the door cards, make sure the plastic surrounds are in good nick so you can replace as one whole part in one go, because swopping over just the leather inserts in the door cards is a shite of a job, trust me!

I've used Woolies leather products on my S8 leather very effectively. That's light beige rather than cream but I see no reason why it wouldn't be equally effective.

One of the jobs I did was to change the colour of the handbrake grip from grey to match the seats. I'll edit a picture in here if I can find one in time....
