Electric RS6Hi all,
Now when I bought the RS last year I wasn't really thinking about the environment but mine, over the last few days has turned in a milk float..
I'm assuming that it's down the cold weather but was wondering if anyone else is having this, I'm getting a constant loud whining noise - does it both in and out of drive. Is this the steering pump?.. Is this normal in cold weather or do I need to be checking something out?..
Any thoughts would be appreciated.. Thanks..

When i had my gearbox replaced (by audi not Grizz), I had exactly the same thing. I had a very small leak on the power steering pipe just in front of the nearside wheel arch, you will need to get it onm a ramp an get the pan off. Audi hadnt put a clip on it.....

Thanks for the help chaps - have topped the fluid up which has made it better and will have a poke around for leaks over the weekend
