when i bought the car it was in a bit of a state body wise but mechanically it was bang on, i didn't keep it all that long as money was tight as i was doing my apprenticeship at the time so sold it on for a grand  about 6 months later i was trawling through the autotrader and there was a 1.8BDA engine and gearbox for sale for 5k i nearly died.

Mcrae was always at 110% along with richard burns 2 of the greatest drivers in the world and the most exciting to watch unfortunately both taken before their time
