Knockhill 08/10/16 AM

I'll be up at knockers tomorrow morning till 1pm, if anyone fancies a blast round in the passenger seat.

Back to the right direction this time and looking fwd to seeing what my times are like in what looks like perfect weather for the car. Cool and dry.
If I don't get under 60s this time out, I'll need to think again about the FMIC.
Flipped the rear tyres round (thanks Autohaus ) to make the most of both shoulders, which were sorry looking.

some of the more interesting cars listed as coming:

Porsche Carrera 996
BMW Z4M
Westfield
Caterham Superlight
Aston Martin Vantage V12
Vauxhall VX220
Adrenalin Buggy
Audi R8
MEV Exocet
NIssan GTR35
Audi S4 (of course )

59.7 secs.

That's me retiring now. 😃
Eddy

Hope you had a good day Jock, that's a decent time !
Hope you will give me a round in November bud
jockthedog

Absolutely Eddy, you're very welcome, and I hope it's dry again.
Yesterday was the perfect October day for the track and I'd have been v disappointed not to get under 60s. Again.

It's certainly not been easy.
6 years (!!!) of fettling, improving, removing, lightening, strengthening, and getting much braver on track. All that to get about 6 secs off the lap time.

There's very little left to get from the car now. Maybe a second? Maybe less!
Understeer was the killer, as usual, even with the center diff mod. Even on the fastest laps (I did 3 in a row at 60.0s before the 59.7) I was just a tiny bit fast thru the apexes and found myself driving straight for the gravel.

One of my neighbours was up in his Exige, said you were there.
