thanks frazered, I'm off down to see Bahnstorm Saturday morning...
vikingrs6 I'll let you know how I get on..... there is a definate lack of specialists in lincs area- called in on one in Notts last weekend to check them out and his first question as we stood at the back of the car right next to the S6 badge was 'Is it petrol or diesel?'

I looked arouind Lincoln for a decent indy, but had no luck.
For my recent 40k mile service, I ended up going to Lincoln Audi, who charged 325.00 labour with me supplying plugs, filters etc (DSGWAGEN 140.00 delivered).
I know this may not be popular, but I also used to visit Corey at Quattronics for brake pads etc, although that company (I believe) is in administration.
Interested to see how th eBahnstorm visit went

Called in to see Aiden at Bahnstorm last sat and he knows his stuff so car is booked in for a ATF fluid and filter change and to replace a faulty knock sensor on the 27th. Nice bloke, reasonable prices and was doing a cracking job on a B5 S4 widebody conversion when I called in.
I have previously used quattronics but thought I'd keep that to myself as didn't want to stir up that hornets nest.......
