My first 1/4 mile RWYB Santpod :)

Was a pretty rubbish day weather wise, but good experience none the less
Couldn't get traction most of the day,but finally managed one reasonable run
12.26 @116.86
Not bad for a first time I guess
revo stage 1+ ,Milltek ValveSonic, revo intake
99ron UK fuel blended with 3 litres of ethanol in a full tank so I could run the 100RON revo file

Graham

Good time.

What is a review stage1+, map and pulley?
xpower

Revo 1+ is the map & pulley (stage 2 from other tuners is the equivalent)
Graham

Strong terminal speed, so I think maybe a different day you'll be closer to 12, maybe just under if everything aligns! I suspect track temp was your challenge as your 60ft should be less (my standard s-tronic does 1.9x on a good day)

Get along to GTI International in July if you can
Noyjatat

Any idea what sort of power figures your running, also is it manual or s tronic?
buzzard

Looking strong there xpower!!!

For stage 1 that's quick and sustained

Great work.

Cheers all

I did wonder if you had a manual. Makes the time better factoring that in my view.

Cheers Graham.

Takes a little more skill(dare I say) to get the 6MT going.

No point n squirt here lol

Nice time mate,  was wondering what a stage 2 B8 S4 can run on the 1/4 mile.  Getting tempted to take mine one day....
Dippy

Some quick gearchanges there.
Alex@Fontain

That's very impressive for a manual box car; fair play
Mspratts4

I done 13.3 in my manual before mods... Looking to improve on that now have pulley and stage 2
Out of interest how did you get off the line..
Hard launch or eased it away before flooring it?
I tried both and the clutch didn't like the hard launch!! 😏

Thanks

On that day in those conditions I was launching at around 2,200RPM & still not getting the best traction (tyres pressures where way too hight too)

I usually go to 2,500 - 3,000 & feather the clutch in with good results on tarmac
steve cane

Close to 11 sec 1/4 with more grip! Warmer day would get you a 1.7 60ft
xpower

I hope so steve

Just ordered new rubber too as the Bridgestones only had around 1mm left be fore being illegal.

245/40R18 93Y AO HANKOOK VENTUS S1 EVO 2 K117 are what I've gone for this time

Michelin Pilot sport 3's work the best on mine

i found no difference whatsover when deflating the tyres
xpower

I'll have to see what the next run yields for me Steve.
