My S4 B8 Saloon

Thought I would post a few pics of my wee S4

When I got her she was totaly standard

I then decided I wanted black wheels,so I went for some wolfrace ProLite 18x9

Next I decided to fit the Q5 4 pot Brembo calipers along with new disc & pads all round

I also had added front splitter,Rs grille & changed the rear valance
Plus the MillteK Valvesonic went on

other mods include

Revo stage 1+
Revo intake
5mm spacers on the front
Eibach rear ARB
Eibach springs (lowerd her by around 10mm)
Black chrome supercharger wing badges
P3Cars in vent gauge
Gloss black mirror caps
Black Audi rings '& S4 badge
audi puddle lights
034 engine mounts & full drive train insert set

I think that's it

Nice mate,
Love the carbon especially the diffuser.
Where did you get that and what kinda money was it?

It's not real carbon fibre sadly so was actually quite well priced.
Made by Rieger Tuning iirc it was around 250

Couple of Milltek ValveSonic vids

THQuattro

Very nice, sounds good.
Rez

That sounds fooking lovely.
xpower

I love the sound goes well with the performance I find.
big eck

That is stunning. I'll be selling my stage 2+ Leon Cupra for one early next year.

Thanks

You wont be disapointed
big eck

I've never had a go in one or even had a bit of sport with one so I hope performance wise it's just as quick if not quicker than mine.

Your exhaust sounds superb

I am in 2 minds whether I want a system or not, Love the sound but worried about the drone on a normal drive

No drone with the ValveSonic, but it is rather expensive as it has an ECU running it so you can change when the valves open.

I hear the Scorpion is drone free with a more reasonable price tag though

Quick pick from today

IanH755

I'm interested in the P3cars vent gauge, was it supplied already built in to a vent or did you have to do that yourself? Have you any pics of it and is it any good as a gauge?

Cheers!
xpower

I have no pics of it installed, but it is very easy to do.

It takes about 15 mins or so

Functionality is great, scrolling through the different readings at the push of a button
xpower

Changed the instrument cluster bezel colour today.
Gone gloss black as the standard silver was annoying me

Also, not launched the car in a while,so though I should brush up on my clutch skills

P3 gauge set on 0-100kph (0-62mph) managed it in 3.73

works out as approx 3.6 0-60mph http://www.convert-me.com/en/convert/acceleration/shundredkm_1.html

Not too bad,bogged a touch in 1st

xpower

better vid,rotated it

xpower

added a touch of Carbon today

xpower

Adding a little colour to my baby (a touch of red)
Also blacked ot the fog light rings

UrielsMachine

Me like

Jas
Rez

Nice classy touches. Love it.
xpower

Cheers
Trying to make my baby a touch different without being tacky
xpower

Now this may not be for every one

I wasn't loving the carbon trim, was dragging the interior down (IMO).So I thought a touch of colour to lift things a little.

xpower

Finished the interior yesterday.
Getting the centre console out is a tad time consuming, but well worth it IMO

xpower

Fitted a second chargecooler today (OE one still in place)
It went in without too much head scratching, routing the hoses was the bit that took longest.i didn't want to have any restrictions so took my time wit that part

big eck

Nice neat job that. Should have gave it a coat of black to hide it behind the grille.

Can you cut down the plate holder as well??
xpower

I wanted to do the plate holder, but it was put on by a garage whilst having some paint sorted.
They glued it in place sadly
Graham

Do you have the secondary passenger side cooler as well?
xpower

Not specifically no. We ran a thread trying to determine why some got them and some didn't and didn't reach a conclusion. It remains an intriguing mystery!

Did a few logs today
revo stage 1+ (equiv to stage 2 from other tuners) 99RON fuel (93AKI)
4x back to back 3rd gear pulls outside temp 20c

log below
https://www.dropbox.com/s/jjkyisc...1-181-691-1301-1881-4191.CSV?dl=0

results showing start & finish temp of pull in degrees C

1: 31.5 - 43.5
2: 37.5 - 48
3: 40.5 - 51.75
4: 41.25 - 52.5

Also it should be noted I was seeing 0 ignition retardation

Below is a link to results using a richer ethanol mix with outside temps at only 5c
https://www.dropbox.com/s/hahua3y...%20Bar%205%20degrees%20C.CSV?dl=0

as can be seen I was reaching 45c when the temps were outside 15degrees less than today, also that wasn't 3 back to back pulls.

So the budget cooling system upgrade is a winner IMO all for 185

Took a few new pics this week
