PH SS @ Silverstone 11/10/15 - pics

I attended a PistonHeads Sunday Service at Silverstone this morning.

Anyone else from here attend?

A selection of my Audi shots below and a bit of everything here:

This was very smart

This was quick

The B8 S4 avant was standard.

This B7 RS 4 avant was lovely. I followed it down the A413 out of Buckingham for a short while. Judging by how it passed everything it met in front on the road, healthy as well.

I have never seen a B7 RS 4 with yellow calipers and now a saloon and avant in one morning...

Colin McRae owned this from new until his death.  New owner Jeremy Copp previously owned an RS2 and did a write up on PH

The car has some Colin spirit left in it. He had well and truely lost me before I reached Winslow. Not that I was in much of a hurry, but still.

ETA: ahh the article says he has  a Caterham Superlight and a Posrche GT3, which would explain his passing preference.

Time for that stealthy stage 1 map then G....

The Grey C5 RS6 was me   I've done the ring a couple of times in it and the car did great, but on a small circuit it was a bit of a handful, good fun though!

All the cars there looked great, I'm loving the Colin McRae history of the sprint blue avant, very cool! I can't believe how many Audis there were.
Dane

great photos Graham! - I'll have to come along to one of these.

Next time I'll post in advance. Numbers are limited so you have to subscribe to the list on PH pronto when the dates are announced.

I went to one at goodwood with Seb when he had the RS4 it was an ok morning, weather wasn't great, but with Silverstone being close its a no brainer to go

Was busy!... Some good bits, some regular. Certainly worth doing. Had a very nice steep hairpin in one wiggly section which was a great move.

good stuff
