Reasonably priced Ur

I'm no expert but this looks like a pretty good price for what it is.

No doubt they'll both be known dogs.

It's your fault you've got me looking now.

Depends on what you'd want the car for.

The Black car is more original. It's had a paint job at some point. It's missing its stripes and door rings. Driver side Headlight looks a bit dull. Doesn't sound like it needs lots of metalwork.  Quite rare in black in an early model.  More of an investment potential.  Good milage and low owners.

Silver car a later model obviously but only viable as a 'fun' car.  Not much way in investment potential. It's got a non standard 20v engine fitted. I always baulk at folk who claim it's undergone any form of restoration and can't be bothered to fit the door ring stickers. Lights need replaced or refurbed. Wrong steering wheel fitted.  Personally, I'd steer clear of this one.  Fitting the 20v could be fraught with danger too if it hasn't been done right.

For anyone looking at these, never get too worried by milage these cars are all about condition and history. Steer clear of anything modified if you want it as an investment.

Out of the 2, I'd go for the early car. But it does need some work. But price reflects that. About the right money.

It was the black one that first caught my eye, and it sounded like an honest advert.

With a bit of haggling could be a nice project/ investment then?

Yes mate, looks like an honest car all right.

If you get the chassis number I can see which month it was built!!  In case there's anything else interesting lurking.  If its a Y plate, it will be an early one. It's a DA chassis.
