Require latest 2016 sat nav update for Audi MMI 3G HDD

Does anyone know where I can download the latest Audi satnav updates from?

Pls PM me if necessary. Appreciate the help.

P.S. How does one check the map version and what is the latest version?

Thanks,

Mo

You need to go to 'setup' then 'version information' to find what your firmware level and navigation database version are

You can find links to the 2015 maps and firmware on A5OC in a sticky thread under 'A5 general Q&A' - it will be updated with 2016 files once they've been tested.

If you're a long way out of date on firmware you can run that now without any issues.

You need a 32GB SD card (not 64) and Sandisk are recommended.  Higher speed the better.  I buy mine from https://mobymemory.com/uk/ and they turn up really quickly.

For firmware updates you only need some small SD cards as each firmware set isn't a big set of files.

There are instructions in the thread referenced above which walk you through the update.

Make sure your SD card is a genuine card, there are a lot of fakes about which will complete copying but when you go into the files they don't copy over. The fakes are usually a lot smaller than the size stated.

If you have tech pack high HDD nav then yes you can. Facelift ones are more difficult

Follow the details I posted before and you'll find the info you need
