RS2 doing what it does well.

Found this on another forum, but so what!
Its got the MTM kit on the engine but otherwise standard (I think).
I bet the bikers are thinking "whats that bloke done to his Audi 80".

Keeping the 5pot in one piece

Aim to beat Clarkson
audimad100

got to beat clarkson 9.59 but that chick followed him in the diesel jag and did a 9.30  so with the RS2 you have to aim for mid 9min.

A 9 minute lap in any car is good. and a good bench mark.

Just realised that in the video the timer does not go to the gantry at the end, stops after the mini Karasel. So they prob did that lap in High 9's even low 10's.

Looking at a few other videos on youtube I'd be glad to get around without reducing the RHD RS2 count down by 1%.
One day I must take a drive to the farterland.

I going to be going over in May and August (dates TBC), your welcome to tag along.
Audimad

The wife and i went to the Ring in august 2008 and did a 20 min+ lap, although we were in a 1989 mini.

Lots of traffic, some dubious lines and the RS2 looks very loose on its suspension. The guy driving the chase car drives much better than the RS2. All reasonable cars/drivers on the Ring pass lots of bikers so that isn't unusual.

Not that impressed really...sorry. Look at the lines in this video

I somehow suspect that is a bit faster than an RS2 could do, I see what you mean about the lines though but I've haven't been there, yet.
I'd challenge the racey thing with 4 people and their luggage ?
Cheers Jeff, hows the A6?

The A6 is fine...just changed the front pads after 20K miles....49 for Pagids

Your RS2 is looking very good in the other thread
trevithick
