S4/RS4 manifolds

I so want some of these...

Don

Where from and how much?
Mikse

From Wagner Tuning, 1690€.
MarkB

AFAIK they aren't in production
jonnyx

They look like the MTM ones. I think the MRC Inconel ones look
nice as well. If I won the lotto I'd probably try the ARD GT kit just
so I could lick the welds on his manifolds (fnar, fnar)
MarkB

MTM ones are log type. These are 3 into 1

Will there be a suitable position to be able to tap in an additional EGT sensor?

I sent an email about them a few weeks ago, they're still 1-2 months (...) away but apparently are in production.
Särås

They are soon possible to order!
We looking forward to that!
Lupo911

here are some News on these Manifolds:

Casting and Machining is done so far, we are getting these now Ceramic coated and that is taking a while.

We can start to sell them at Begin of 2011

- Material 1.4848
- Investment Cast
- Ceramic Coated (outside)
- Price 1690 Euro plus Shipping

Mihnea

Just got a pic through of the manifold runner merge ...

Awesome!

aposegil

I have to admit looks like one of the better cast designs
andream88

That's a real work of art Carsten!

Stefanors4

great news !!!
Juice

added to my wishlist.
rtdi

excuse my ignorance but what are the benefits of these?
Jonmurgie

rtdi wrote:

No idea of the bore on these are bigger then the standard manifold but the obvious benefit is a far smoother airflow which allows the gasses to escape easier therefore allowing the engine a chance to make more power easier... in short, more power
andream88

i think that the bores are:

38mm on the head flange
41mm on the turbo flange

don't quote me on that though!

incorrect

Carsten says :

Bore size

The entrance on head flange amounts to 38 mm, this diameter then tapers Later on to 32mm

The exit to the turbo amounts to 42mm

Noticed that a couple days ago but didn't actually remember to post the link here.

Well done

I'll buy a set as soon as they'll be available!

finally we have a GO, shipping starts tomorrow
Jonmurgie

Looking very nice indeed - any figures on what kind of gains can be expected (if any)?

They do look very nice.

For just better spool and lower EGT they are worth having. IMO
jeffw

Will you actually get lower EGTs just because they are ceramic coated ?
MarkB

jeffw wrote:

I wouldn't expect so. The lower EGT is from better flow.

Ceramic coating is to keep under bonnet temps down and protect surrounding ancillary parts
okkim

Why would the ceramic coating lower the EGT's? I think that it is the opposite, because the coating prevents the heat radiation away from the manifolds.

Those look very nice, BTW.

After a short period of no stock these are available again. Demand is high so if you want them don't delay in ordering.

Intelligent design, optimum flow and maximum power.

Excellent! "Note: Driver Side Downpipe needs to be modified to suit." Any idea of how much modification the down pipe requires? Do only OE down pipes require modification or do aftermarket also?

Thanks,
Auto

The orientation of the driver side turbo is slightly different when you use our manifolds. The downpipe flange needs to be cut off and re-welded on to suit.

One set of these on fleebay 1k. Tim

dr.sah

are these still for sale at Wagner?
