Sad news regarding a fellow member :(

Bad news regarding a fellow member James Dirkin (malice on here) has passed at the young age of 31. Details are not clear nor nessecary but I bought a car from him an S4 B6 (his last Audi hence why I thought threads most relevant in here) from him a few years back and have kept a good friendship since.

Below are a few pics of the cars we can remember him by.
The s4 I bought from him, still miss that now...

Another pic and you can see its replacement in the back ground (fell in love with it when I went to pick my s4 up lol)

And his most recent pride and joy, last convo I had with him a few weeks back was to never sell it without telling me.

Rest in peace friend
Graham

Sorry to read this dude. As mentioned way too young. RIP.

Without any disrespect does that mean I've got 'Dead mans peddles' that came out of the S4? If so I promise to look after them, enjoy them and hopefully they will look after me!

Very unfair.  RIP.

That's really incredibly tragic at such a young age.

Do you know if he was married\had family?

The reason I ask is, that I lost my 42 year old wife to breast cancer in Oct last year after very long battle, and I joined an online peer support group called WAY http://www.widowedandyoung.org.uk/

They provide peer support for widows and widowers under 50 years old, through their online site and Facebook groups, and have proved really helpful. It's a shite club to be in, but I'd recommend anyone in this situation to consider joining them, as it can be quite an isolating experience, and those in the same situation can provide immense support, through forums and also organised events .

Sorry to hijack the thread, but maybe worth passing on this info if its applicable.

You have nothing to apologise for sir. My deepest condolences to you and your family also. He didn't have kids and recent broke up with his partner last year, he moved back in with his mum to which he was the only son. She's devastated but talking to her lately she's keeping herself busy with arrangements and burial.

Thanks for the thought none the less, I'm sure these two tragedies are eye openers for a lot of us to really live life and this link you've posted will be in use for someone here.
