There is a colour difference which the camera seems to emphasise but in reality it looks very oem and is a perfect fit into the recess.

Well the navi does look good but the colours are clearly not matched.
If thats the 250£ option Virdee offers, then i'd very disappointed.......

I paid £450 for the unit - A6 4B Unit as compatible with B5 RS4

£250 For Virdee to do th facia

£50 approx for the cables from Kufatec.de

So £800 approx all in. Not cheap but well worth it.

Fitted myself. You need Vagcom.

any chance you could do a close up shot of unit, i want to see where the unit ears sort of go to the console (the gaps)

Ouch!!,that is expensive....... just to see where you're going ,looks preety good anyway.

It's a Never ending cost to own one of these

I don't know if it's the lighting or camera angle, but as Oliver has said it does seem to be emphasised.

Having just had a pm conversation with Virdee,

He has told me that he would like to re-adjust the colour, as a matter of good faith....  

I have to say that this is more than I expected as really it is s very minor difference in person but just shows how important it is to Virdee to get it right.

Can't recommend enough.

Did your existing tv tuner and ad cd changer work with this install? and also does the dis display th track info etc? thanks

Usual:

TV Tuner: No Never used it anyway
CD Changer: Yes, although I use Phatbox and that works too
DIS Track info: Yes
DIS Nav info: Yes

Looking mate! Thanks for the info. do u know if the tv changer can be made to work or will it not as the new ones are digital and the old ones analogue? thanks again!

B5 Analogue TV tuner no good with RNS-e as far as i know.
Did not try to be honest.
