The noggy fix up

Just bought this a few weeks back

Had apparently rs4 ko4, rs4 fuel pump, rs4 injectors upgrade during to ko3 failing not much more done to it apart from tints all round mrc go fast tuning stickers on rear side windows a boost gauge in centre vent along with a full service history 5 prev owners and lots of invoices and I'm now going to try to keep it alive as I have some love for the Noggy.

Had some damage to nearside wing and side skirt due to prev owner not giving it the love it needed

Seat belt was seized on pass side and pass front seat was screwed as air bag deployed

Rest of the car is nice and solid,
drivers rear door was also mash up so decided to get the main parts that's bring this down out and sourced set of noggy alcantara/leather interior a front n/s wing and side skirt (still looking for side skirt)

Things to do one this one.....

•clean interior from the boot to carpets, fit the central locking pump....done

•Strip interior fit the seats and seat belt....done

•give it a full service all fluids filters and belts..

•new rear view mirror ...

•new head unit hopefully my Alpine set.

•Set of coilover or spring combo for that correct drop along with rs4 type 18"
And b6 brakes setup...

•fit the rs4 intercoolers...

Atm I have the new wing to paint and install new set of number plates and to realignment of the front bumper as the pass side seems to be sagging any info on getting good that looking leveled again will be very much appreciated.

Looking to getting the whole undercarriage fully shot blasted and cleaned up with some powered coated bits to keep it from rusting.

Some random pics of the car and work currently done by myself

Continuing cleaning the interior seems like there is some water ingress in the carpet looking at the stains left. But for meantime...

I will try to document as much as I  can while I continue to modify and maintain

Seats was my main reason to keep and mod this car as the old leather it had looked poorly but now the car feels like a S4 again in the inside going to get some new noggy mats next .

What oil do all the ko4 guys use in the engine 5w 40 any good??

Thanks for looking

Thanks guys ordered the mats hope they are a decent set.

Now I cleaned up the scuttle area where I found a puddle hence the damp carpet coming from one of the bad rubber seals anyway I manage to find the drain plug which I poked through and manage to let the water free gathered under the battery tray before it got colder.

Also changed the pollen filter at the same time and noticed the brake reservoir cracked and ordered a new one ...will be clearing drain plug under that when changed

Currently waiting for a full service the rear door cards seats need to be put back on to sliders which I'm struggling to get back into rear door needs going on looking at a set of door speakers as upgraded as bose driver door speaker is distorting

Looking for set of used coilovers or spring set up once I'm happy it's running fine.

Has a funky Jdm style catback and sounds decent
The 710n upgrade and has some custom ko4 inlet pipes

Few current pics

Tried to upload more but not working

Stigs dad

Loving the total strip out to clean up .  Someone's put some money in to fit the ko4s  so your halfway  there. Good luck with the build and keep the photos  coming.
Noggymike

What headlights are you running?
Shamx1166

The car came with some tired cream leather interior which I have given away then fitted these and tried to clean it as much as I could

The headlights are the Depo pre face-lift with halo and Xenon comes with kit for the S4 version

Just got the plates today

Much better than the small plates I ordered.

Great quality.

Shamx1166

Bought a Ecu with a stage 3 remap for ko4

Was tested by Ben at MRC tuning so getting closer to getting it all up running as it should.

Mats have been ordered aswell should be here next week.

Currently waiting to get current parts fitted and all tested before continuing.

Brake fluid reservoir to fit once arrived

Rear de badge tho..

Pressed plates to go on before my test run with stage 3 ko4 map

Ecu is off a S221 JOB don't know if any one recognises the plate it was on this wide body

Any info on that car in terms of upgrades will be very useful as I'm using its ecu I'd like to get the parts needed for it to run correctly ie: injectors, pump etc

They guy selling it hasn't got much insight to share so thought I'd ask here and see if it's safe to plug n play...

The mats are meant to be super velour what ever that is just hope they are good quality,
Il take Pics when I get them.

Rs style grill will go on with oem S4 badge

A brand new set of Rs4 H&R 40mm springs with rs4 front strut pic to follow installation..

Hopefully a decent drop and drive once set up

Also considering arm rest in alcantara with some noggy stich and gaiter and hand brake trim.
Shamx1166

This is the look I'm going for 18" rs4 wheels paired with rs4 H&R -40mm drop

Would also consider 18" golf R segments.

I don't get it?

You update your thread but you put the car up for sale at 8am today!

http://audisrs.com/ftopic67687-0-0-asc-.php
Shamx1166

Yes only seems right I complete it as it will be more desirable once in a
state of sale with my final touches before I get a viewing but if anyone is
looking to continue fixing it up they are welcome to buy it as is as I've not
got that much time to spend on it as planned.

Il keep this thread updated but won't be as planned as I was going to spend
a month to completely get it where I want.

Just so anyone interested in this knows recent history of this vehicle I've tried
to continue sorting bits it needed to at least pass mot.

Like the pass side seat air bag had deployed that's now fixed with the
another better nick and more desirable interior along with the seat belt
aswell as air bag light and all dtcs cleared.

Remapped ecu will go on before its sold so it drive as it should as I
suspect the car not driving on boost as ko4 should due to not bring mapped
and when I bought it was told clutch might be slipping on aggressive boost and
having had 2 s4s with slipping clutch this seemed more like mapping
problem but will see when it's all sorted but worst case is
clutch refresh with rs4 set up.

Door speakers wasn't working as wiring was not done correctly.

Central locking pump was also not working now replaced and is
safe to leave as all doors wouldn't lock before..

Rear door will be replaced and will add images once fitted.

I had plans to sell my other s4 and keep this but due to the wife nagging with me
"wasting time" on old cars. Lol

I'll prob be back in few years if i can afford a B5/B7 RS4 as they are getting expensive now..
or more likely S-tronic B8 S4 to keep the family happy, until then i'm going to continue with the noggys fix up as it's the only one I bought intending to fix up.

Hope that answers any other questions about it.

Cheers noggyMike
Noggymike

Thanks for expanding on it, good to see a motivated seller trying to get things sorted!
