Drove the new RS6 mtm 700hp

Hi all. Been reading (thanks to Cornishmoocher) for some time now.

Two days ago I had the p l e a s u r e of test driving an RS6 C6 mtm 700hp

I'm not good with descriptions and writing stuff so I will be brief.

Surely it was beyond my expectations.
Having read most of the articles and the reviews I was expecting something less from what I’ve got.

I am impressed with the car, the looks (not so discreet after all), the interior, the comfort, the engine, the gearbox, the brakes (ceramics), the suspension ...

This car can be driven effortlessly around bends.

I am very happy I will be driving a mine shortly (already produced on the 18th of September and taking delivery around the 20th of October) … and then visit mtm

Welcome Michalis, and what a first post to enter with!!
Although I must say that I drive mine also effortlessly around bends without having it upped to 700hp..

I've read how lucky you are, having your "daddy" already at your command

My surprise and the point I meant to make was that this car is set to handle well above the stock power, without raising your heartbeat!
I pushed it and in no time I felt comfortable enough to explore more but ... the owner asked me to lower the pace

Hi,

I think you may be getting your words confused! (anyhoo, your English is better than my greek, in fact your english is better than my english

), I think Dag would argue that he is very real, although some of his exploits could be the stuff of myths!
#He has just launched his 32nd book Its called Disasters at sea........

Going to the Earls court (london) boat show with him, he is on the Blue FPT stand, they are bringing over the boat especially, but i do not know if Vasilli, Panos and Lefteris are coming.

nearly empty, mount gay rum, coke & slice of lime, we went onto the Pomerol after that, and i was n't drunk then either

Did you know Michalis, that Dag has just been awarded the life time achievement award by the maritime journalists association?? He rekons it means he has to give up now!!!

Just for you Michalis.

Dag has won all three of the round britain power boat races, the first in 1969, the second in 1984 and this one in 2008. Some record......

Alex when I said that Dag is a "myth" I meant to say that he is a leaving one, a legend!

I have few of his books and I would have met him (and probably you as well!) had I been in my position; the 4th seat on this RIB. Unfortunately I had to attend some urgent business in China at the same time

)

(thread has been dragged away from RS6 and mtm to our other love ... the sea

but it is somehow related since I bet Dag, a highspeed sportsman, loves the RS6

Ah well next time!!!!

Dag's other great friend Fabio buzzi has a daytona c5 RS6, and Dag reckons that is quicker than mine, I will see next year when I go to lake Como for a play.....
