That's great power considering how little has been done to it

Thanks for sharing that Doug.

Aside from the headline 479PS, the +100Nm is just as impressive and if anywhere is where the standard car is wanting.

Given how very capable a standard car is, that must be extremely fast. Looking at the plot I imagine the performance is easilly applied on the road too.

Not detracting from your development, but all 'only' at the relatively little modified stage 2 state of tune.

A good all-rounder at that power level and a complete wolf in sheeps clothing.

Doug

Do you have a feel yet for how do the gearboxes cope on these cars - both the dual clutch and standard?

Also, if you had a manual car, would you need to upgrade the standard clutch?

Looks like it will be very fast in real terms on the road - seriously considering one but think I would like a manual car again...

We have never had any issues on the stronic box on our car. It has been 1/4 miled and tracked and  literally hundreds of runs on our dyno and other dynos during development.

The car is very capabale - a V10 R8 creeps away on track on the straights but with the S4 easily holds its own in the corners with the sport diff really helping and making it  faster over a lap than the V10. This car has bilstein coilovers and h&r arbs.

Does the B8 S4 have the same DRC system as the B7 from the factory?

Normal shock and spring although with ADS option you can adjust a valve in the shock to give you stiffer or softer shocks.

Thanks Doug - so what about manual cars - do they cope with the hikes in power and torque?

they have so far been reliable - a manual car, the driver can be more abusive on the clutches.

When will you release the prices for the pulley upgrade Doug?also are you any closer to mapping the gearbox so it changes up at higher revs?I would like to do both eventually funds permitting and more importantly it needs to be reliable

Whats the theoretical derestricted top speed on the b8 Doug anywhere near 200mph  ?

I'm pretty sure one of these will be my next car.
