A pic of my new grill, ignore the Rs4 badge - waiting for the S4 badge

Had a little play with my bro's E92 M3 and my S4 was ahead by about 15 car lengths, was really surprised at the gap it left

Thanks mate, I am really happy with the results. Was thinking to get the one with the chrome surround at first but then changed my mind and got the all black one.    Have better pics but I cant seem to upload them for some reason

Like you I said to myself I will stop the modding after the B5 but it has got worse but hey all these small changes make a very nice difference. The Honeycomb really makes the front look more special, no one does the fog light grills in honeycomb or I would have changed those as well.

Got the grill from an ebay seller for a good deal, he threw in some black & chrome Audi rings and RS4 badges by error.

Sent you a PM regarding the grill.

Have you fitted your RS5 brakes as yet?   Thinking about this route now

Great lookin car mate.

I have a stage 2+ mk2 Leon Cupra just now and I'm seriously tempted by the S4 avant. Purely on the fact I could do with a bit more boot space as I've just had a wee one and with the travel system in the boot there's no space left for anything else so I need to use the back seat. Not ideal.

Are all avants in the high tax bracket?? £490 a year I think it is??

Are they really that quick with a map? My Cupra is running 380bhp so it's a very quick car and my next one with have to "feel" just as quick to keep my power fix at bay lol.

Thanks mate

My car is on the lower tax band and it has the s-tronic gearbox. Power wise I would say it is very quick and responsive, instant power when you need it. The power delivery is also super smooth.   You do really need a long stretch of road if you want to put your foot down as it builds up speed really quick. I believe it does 0-60 mph in under 4 secs and 0-100 in under 9 secs.

I am loving the Avant as it has more space in the back compared to the saloon I had in the past. I can get the buggy, shopping in and still have room to spare.

Very interesting. So it's just the manual that rapes you for tax then yea?

Wha year is yours?? Have you had any issues with the s-tronic box (it is reliable)??

So for the newbie questions mate but I find it better asking someone that actually owns one lol.
