No, it's a beer brand invented as recently as 1997!

I suspect I'd like that Mythos too! The beer is probably named after the Audi colour. Honest!

Yep, you're right it does, but my D2 S8 still smelt fantastic after 14 years! It must be what I smell of!

For sale, Eau de Peach. Gives your car the special aroma that can only come from The Professor! Not convinced a career in marketing would have suited me!

Thanks Alps. The plans, are not to change it one anyway shape or form, but of course keep it extra clean and shiny (as well as an everyday car can be). First full week of ownership has been excellent. One group of yoofs trying to race me in Daddies Golf GTi, but still taking it easy. Attention I never got in the S8.

First proper clean today as well!

First proper drive today. Visiting the outlaws in Sheffield, I needed to pop over to Manchester Airport to collect the brother in law. It eats those twisty miles so we'll. The punch for safe overtaking is great. Dynamic mode through the sweeping bends and comfort mode for those dodgy Yorkshire pot hole ridden roads. I love the tech. The sat nav, phone connected stuff and sound system are fantastic. I think I may be converted to newer cars! Perhaps I need two, one old and one new.

Which route did you take from Sheffield to Manchester?  I just spent a long weekend in the Peak District, love the place

I used Woodhead this time Ian, but have done various. I grew up on the edge of the Peak District (Leek), so know bits of it very well. Where did you stay?

House on the Stancliffe Hall estate, in Darley Dale, right on the edge of the Peak Park, just south of Chatsworth
