Ooh yeah, worth a good few thousand in bits.

Maybe I'm just too sentimental.

Well this is the thing,....the bodyshell, block and interior have done this, but much of the rest of the car has been replaced or upgraded.....several times over.

Well, with a small window in general 'life/work' time, I went out to start cleaning the car up today, and guess what,......IT BLOODY RAINED AGAIN!!! Arrrrrgh

Since moving back up north two years ago, it has done nothing but rain!

When I finish painting and sorting the garage out, I'll pop it in there and get to work,.....and THEN some up to date pictures will follow

I'll be taking a few of the smaller goodies off the car this week, to free up a bit of cash.

Oh yeah, I'd still rather NOT break it, especially with the huuuuge amount of labour time and costs that have gone in to it over the years.

I'm just taking things like the carbon engine cover off and the titanium gear knob and bits like that (I have the standard parts here to put back on),......that probably would make little or no difference to the sale price of the car in one piece

I could be wrong but this website says the AGB pedal is the same as the diesel pedal.

I have a facelift though....and replaced it with a 1.6 petrol one i think, same part number. worked a treat. I even stripped it down to recondition and clean but the circuit board was corroded because of a small leak at the ecu box..... who knew!

yea those engine codes above look like 1.9tdi engine codes..... should help open up the search a bit!  Just grab the part numger off the side of it and search on ebay, its probably the same pedal in a bunch of passats and octavias too.....!

Aye, mine's a PFL car, so much trickier to swap. FL swaps are easy apparently.

I have a FL/RS4 throttle pedal here, and it looks nothing like my existing one.
