I always try and give ours a good coating before the weather gets horrid - a snow foam, and if they're lucky a hand wash, is all they get this time of year!

The S8 is looking quite clean, but that's largely because it's not moved since I cleaned it at the beginning of the month! That and one of the bi-xenons is in bits waiting for a new lens....

I need to order a lance for my Karcher. Any recommendations?

And is the Magifoam still a good option?

There's one on ebay for 30 new including a separate angled lance for underside of car. Seems well priced and has sold 100's, just purchased today

I got all my kit from polished bliss - there service is incredible.

Currently using Autofinesse Avalanche which I have no complaints about, works great.

Thanks mate. I'm going to have to make do with the Karcher that I've so kindly agreed to store safely for my uncle. He can though borrow it anytime (so long as I'm not planning on using it then)

Guys I bought this lance and tried it out yesterday using Magifoam. The thing is the foam didn't really stick to the car. Also hardly moved any of the dirt.

I put in about an inch of liquid and topped up the rest of the bottle with warm water.

now the embarrassing question is.... do I need to turn on the water supply from the hose? Or do I just spray the car with the content of the bottle? For clarititiy, I turned on the water supply.

Want/need to give it another try today.

I would probably put more snow foam in - I measured out the recommended dilution for the brand I use and marked a line on the bottle to make it easier on a regular basis.  From memory I've got at least double that amount in the bottle.

Whether it then sticks will depend how grubby your car is as well - will generally stick better if it's dirty!

Then it's a case of fiddling with the valve on the top to get the right snow foam/water/air mix and varying the spread of the nozzle to get a good layer on the car
