Im not 100% sure on wrapping, i wrapped mine and now both my downpipes have cracked, one a while back, replaced it with one without wrapping, the other side has cracked now... Admitadly it was an XS power zorst, and who knows how stainless the stainless is, but the wrap holds moisture on it.

Yes but if they crack it's only a weld away for repair (did I mention free repair)

Not sure if any nags would be lost, need to see come summer.......

These are my XS downpipes wrapped next to miltek 100 cell downpipes... and also my cracked xs downpipe.
I think most of it was down to the quiality of material used though.

(Ignore the paste on the end, that was me trying to bodge it for a bit before my new downpipes turned up, didnt realise it had cracked all the way around!)

I think the xs power "stainless" is maybe not as stainless as they should be.

I don't wrap DPs - just becasue i never have.

I would be very surspsied if you got our 3" DPS to crack by wrapping them.

3" DP setup will pass trackday tests. They are quieter than the 100cell DPs.

We put them on an s4 but with a RS4 milltek catback. I don't see an issue in getting them on an s4(with dual catback) though we have still to do this.
