Ocasionally Get the odd wiff of Horse in my car.  The previous owner clearly had some.... (I hope the did not live in the car)

What filter can I change to help reduce this?

I believe there are two, carbon and pollen?

Drop a couple of tumble drier sheets under each seat, it'll hide the smell temporarily at least.

Not ingrained in the boot carpet or even the floor carpets? Shitty wellies and riding kit standing in the foot wells and in the boot? I Know my ex had horses and everything stinks after a while. Good valeting should sort the carpets out.

My air con is smelling of sweaty socks !!

Could just be my feet i suppose !!

I haven't tried them myself yet but know someone who has used air con bombs. !!

His car is left closed up for long periods and he uses one before it gets locked away.

It seems to take away lots of nasty smells.

They are aerosols which you release into the car with the fans running, (look on ebay), I believe its the same stuff that the garage will use to deoderise the air con but only £5.00 - £8.00 per can.........

My local part suppliers sells them so may just get one to try and report back.....

Mooch may well know more air con is his thing.............
