Looking at a friends 1.8T for them and it's coming up with the errors below.

Also, it runs very rough for the first few minutes when engine is cold.

Done a pressure test and changed the DV Still no better.  

Anyone got any ideas

Vacuum leak, or possibly MAF.

If the car is tuned, it might be worthwhile putting it back to stock.

The car has one of your maps though....            only joking!

It has been tuned, not by you but was done many miles ago.

MAF reading looks fine for performance the car is giving. I'm pretty sure there are no boost leaks.

I've tried something on it this afternoon, will report back if it's worked or not tomorrow.

CTS would be my bet.

Check the measuring block for temp, i bet it doesnt match the temp displayed on the dash !!

I'm going to go on out a limb here...... Coolant Temperature Sensor?

My brothers 1.8t Golf had been doing the same and has the same fault codes. I got that mobile vag guy out to have a look (cant remember his name?) and have changed a list of parts inc CTS. Got 1 more sensor to change tomorrow to see if it works?

Would that not be picked up by doing a pressure test?

Depends if there are one way valves in there or not. Being vacuum lines there probably is.
