Personally I would have a microcontroller deciding whether meth map should be used. To make it fool proof. You could even program one to bring any information you want up on the dis display on the instrument panel. I.e map settings, meth fluid level, etc.

Maybe I could help you one that viper for a freebee.

I would say yes to that sir

I think a lot of people would love that addition as well!!

While you're at it Dom, perhaps you could knock up a more generic DIS display interface for all that useful data such as boost, EGTs, IAT, etc...?

I will be going down this route when my new engine is finished, to run different maps to run NOZ for drag racing. Once Rich has done a couple of new maps for my car will be handy to be able to switch it myself.

Vehicle info through DIS would be extremely good.

Interesting, any chance of being able to switch on the fly in the future?

I have a different device that will allow two maps to be changed instantly between each other at the flick of a switch, even while driving (on private road of course )

So, Yes

Is there more info about this "map switching device", maybe even some reviews?

There are a couple of guys on here that have used the device so will hopefully be along in a sec to let you know, but it does exactly as it says on the tin - Two maps, can be completely different, and each one is enabled the instant you flick that switch.

o.k. thanks

No external parts, except from extra wire (or two) to the ecu?
And any tuner can program/update the maps?

Anyway, could you send me a PM about costs etc.

Having used both the switching products that Viper supplies - can confirm they both work exactly as expected.

Highly recommended! Add to that Vipers outstanding service - you can't go wrong
