This post is a few weeks late, due to work comittments etc, but its nonetheless meant wholeheartedly.

I live in Sussex, and Unit20 are 340 miles away, so why?!

Sarge needed its 10k service and I had had the fortune to speak to Grizz a few months back to get some advice on how to stop the imbalance on the front brakes that were troubling me - he was very helpful and just took the time to talk me through what to look for and deal with.

So, it made sense to take my pride and joy to someone who really seemed to understand these cars (and always seems helpful on here too)

I wasnt dissappointed in any way, he, and his colleagues really pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything was dealt with, their communication and updates were superb, and to top it all off, they managed to get some failed items sorted through Warranty Direct saving me a whole bunch of cash!

The car went in with a failed Fan Control unit, which Warranty Direct immediately confirmed they would cover - great. Then Grizz rang to tell me that all the control arm bushes were fooked - Warranty Direct mention that they cover these in their paperwork, but weren't keen initially.

At this point, and in my previous experience, most other dealers or specialists would have given up at the first refusal hurdle, but Unit20 took it seriously, and helped to get both items covered fully and as I sit here I am awaiting a cheque back from WD for approx 1200 having sent in my pre-approved claim.

So, driving 600+ miles for a service saved me on all counts!

On top of all that (as if there needs to be more!) Grizz was very understanding of my OCD   and took time to talk me through everything on the car and, as the car was in for two days (planned) gave me a great courtesy car so I could get to see some clients in Liverpool and Manchester whilst Sarge was being given a proper once over.

I shall be back!

Thanks Grizz, Lee and Rhiann!

TOP SERVICE!

I was very happy with the service from Grizz and Unit 20, he made time to come to the phone everytime I called up to 'see how he was getting on' how annoying must that be? But he entairtained me each time, got a free courtesy car and even though he knew I was willing to spend money getting anything that wasn't right, he told me to put my wallet away as there wasn't a single thing wrong with the car, of course I had to get it out again to pay for the 2x intercoolers, service and cambelt though.

UR Quattro as I recall.

It had a gorgeous blonde in the passenger seat and another on hand, just in case the first one failed...

They really do think of EVERYTHING at service time..

Yes, my ur quattro was in unit20 to get the wheelarch ground down a bit... Lee took great delight thinking he could cut up my car

I asked Grizz to sort out my UrS4 last year ....

Read this thread

The banter, professionalism and good all round expertise Martin and Lee takes some beating AND as you say Amar Grizz won't lead you up the garden path replacing parts that don't need changing.
