Keep at it dude one will come on to the market.

This is why I bought mine 2 weeks before I moved house because just the right one turned up and I had to get it  or I knew I'd be waiting 3 months for another one to turn up.

Same here mate, one will come around. You will just need to get the timing right, my plan was to buy one at the end of this year but knew how rare they were with the sports diff so had to jump when the right car was advertised.  To me having the sports diff and the super sports seats was a must have

Well, after 5 months of waiting I have placed a deposit on one!

It's a 2010 Ibis White Saloon in manual, 34k miles.
Full Drive Select (Steering, Dampers & Diff)
Supersport Seats (Heated)
B&O
AMI
DAB
TPMS
Bluetooth
19" RS4 style alloys
Black styling pack

I haven't seen it yet so will be viewing and hopefully collecting at the weekend. The only downside is no nav, but there's a few people who have done retrofits so I'll do some more research into that, im an aircraft engineer (avionics) by trade, so the wiring/fibre/install required doesn't bother me much.

Let's hope she's a good one! Coming from a prestige dealer who knows the car as they sold it to the last owner a few years back.

Will get it back, give it a shakedown for a few weeks and get booked in to MRC for some Stage 2 loving.

Well done Phil. The right one is worth the wait, so hopefully this is the one.

Sorry to piss on your bonfire, but you cannot go into the ADS options on the screen if the car doesn't have Nav

Someone on 246 ordered an RS5 new without Nav (why oh why I have no idea) only to find out they couldn't control the ADS options..... (which is probably what the first owner of that S4 found out the hard way too)

http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=91002

Without Sat Nav, you lose all the buttons rearwards of the gearstick.  A different configuration of these buttons are squeezed in above the climate panel and below the CD/DVD slot.  That would be fine...... except this new panel replaces the thin horizontal strip of buttons that normally house ESP, front parking sensors (if fitted), stop start (if fitted).......... and the ADS buttons

Pictured, S4 without Nav.  ESP button moves down to rearwards of gearstick

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the concern, but whilst you are correct that without nav, you get no onscreen ADS options to configure the individual mode, you can actually still control the ADS.

Behind be gearstick on non-nav cars, is the ESP button, then on another row is the ADS (minus the individual).

Here's a pic of the car;

But you can only have everything in sport, everything in comfort, or everything in auto.  So to have the diff activated (ie. sport) you have to have the suspension rock hard etc

That's what I have with the buttons behind gearstick and diff seems to work in all settings, well auto and sport for sure anyway.

Just bringing this thread back, spotted this well specced saloon and thought it worth posting.  I'm not in the market, and if I was I'd only be after an Avant.  94k, but looks clean and is extremely well priced imo compared to the prices some traders are still asking for poverty spec cars.

2010 '10' saloon with B&O, 3G, Super Sports, memory seats, carbon interior trim, black exterior trim, ADS incl sport diff, 19s etc

It does seem a little too cheap considering the options on it, it does have quite high mileage on it though.

Out of interest does anyone know the numbers of manul S4 with the sports diff that were produced? Just spoke to a guy at a garage and he said only about 8 which I'm not sure I believe. I'm desperately on the hunt for one.
