Hi folks

looking to get a decent car cover for the ur. It only really needs to be an indoor one. †It's to keep the car from getting covered in dust. †The garage is dry but won't really be warm.

TIA

ps i've been told about storm force covers, they look pretty good for the money. Was looking at their sahara cover for indoor use, comes in at £56 which seems reasonable!

any other suggestions!

pps i've tried the search function on here...no threads on it!

My dad uses a carcoon for his 205 GTI, that he stores in the shed over winter. Has had it for 4-5 years now and never had any issues with it.

pricier option than a car cover though.

£20 dust sheet min. †
I would be wary of a full on cover, you really need one that breathes properly. †Ive used one the past and its surprising the amount of moisture that can be trapped under them so breathable is a must IMO.

Let me know if you get one and what you think as Im thinking on one for the porker.

They do outdoor ones also, certainly sound good enough..

@Paul.w yeh heard of those but don't need to be spending that much.

@Tanoga, they look decent too, have heard of them.

@Graeme, good point about breathable...i'll let you know which way i go with this

i had a similar post up regarding something for the S4 (saloon) i'm in the same boat, suitable dry indoor garage, would just be nice if it came out the garage as dust free as it goes in!!

will look into your suggestions too!
