my car
http://audisrs.com/ftopic55977-0-asc-0.php

I have TTE600 turbos, took them becuase I kept OEM rods and pistons, didn't want to pay silly money (didn't have it hehe).

I have 1.95 boost to 1.7bar, full boost is arround 3500rmp I think. But I have 2.8 heads and cams, and Im working to get back AZR, if I don't sell car before. With AZR heads car was little more brutall from lower rpm, but even now car is pretty fast.

Before TTE I had for short time RS6 turbos with 2mm bigger inlet than TTE 47mm, TTE has 45mm if Im correct. We have one part of highway here in uphill (15% uphill) where I can measure top speed to specific point. Car got same speed with both turbos 250km/h!

sorry for my crap english

if you need more info just ask

Thanks for that dr.sah. Looks promising! I think things happening just 500rpm sooner could make all the difference. Still good power top end. If i could just crack 600 that would be sweet.

Gorgeous imola btw!

The difference is in amb temperatures.
He was doing pulls at really low temps - 6degC
And if German guy - 102 oct or E85. This allows more boost which is seen in 100nm more at peak.
That car should be way faster.
It is not bc of those things you think eitherway.

yeah it really doesn't happen until 4k does it. I can tell driving the imola RS4 with 2283 rs6 hybrids that's the case even though its not mapped yet. hopefully that will be getting mapped soon so if I like that then maybe.

struggling to find much on the 2280 or TTE600 sort of spec. I know Tom, Dougs friend, has them so will try get a graph this week. Tom said Doug has been cursing him for lowering the cr with gaskets as he says its made it really laggy off boost. Which I knew could be the trade off but im glad its been confirmed by first hand experience makes me feel better about not myself.

You need to lower the CR if you want less lag

wrong way round mate. lower the cr if you want to run more boost and timing for top end.

lower cr creates less response

Ops you right mate i get it other way around
