Wee update, thought Id try some B7 brakes.  Was going to sell the discs on and get some custom bells/AP discs but these have next to know wear so I fitted to see what there like.  That and Ive got no spare cash lol.

Painted in satin noggy.  First impressions are good, not much difference as I haven't given the car a good run yet.

So had to do the other front CV boots as one had split and thinking that would be as easy as the other side I started it in good spirits.  Ended up throwing the towel in late Sat night after trying same method as before with no success then to get pinch bolt out which took me 2.5hrs to move it 0.75in....it came out though so one small victory.  Woke up Sunday and it took me 5min to get the shaft out lol.  Amazing what leaving some thing does.

Anyway all CV joints and boots replaced on the front so that should be that for a while.

Whilst I love the wheels they are an absolute bugger to clean and do look a tad big so decided to give them a paint in satin gunmetal to see what there like before I think about powdercoating them.  Not 100% convinced but the powdercoat I was going for is slightly lighter and gloss so I'll see.

Drivers rear wheel bearing has gone so that needs done.......never ending with these buggers.

I like those wheels a lot, but, I just couldn't be arsed to clean them if they were mine

Been in the same situation many-a-time before regarding removing stubborn parts and then they magically unhinge themselves after a break

How are you finding the B7's?

Good work, dude.
