Had coilovers fitted since I purchased it noticed the rear driver side is on its ass, front feels abit bouncy now aswell so ideally want to replace, was looking at the BC coilovers on Ebay but wanted to know what people reccomemed, I know shocks and spring are better but I would like to be able to drop and lift as I please, what do people reccomemed don't mind spending up to about 800 was looking and BC and D2. but open minded.

KW and Bilstein have a better rep than BC and D2. KW especially.

Of those I only have first hand experience of BC's and Bilsteins (albeit not for an Audi). The BC's were awful on my brother's Evo. The ride is not compliant at all and much worse than standard when pushing on.

The Bilsteins were much better in every aspect. Complaint ride, good build quality and good for a spirited drive.

KW are a race proven manufacturer, they have a hydraulic dyno test facility for designing and testing the road going suspension. I think they've got better anti corrosion properties than competitors now (inox I think?).

I personally would go for the most expensive KW's you can afford. I went with Bilsteins as they were 500 from germany and you cant go wrong with that (all I could afford at the time).

The Bilstein B12 kit I think only drops 25-30mm all round.

From memory I think you can alter the ride height on the KW V1, V2 and V3 but you would have to check.

For my S6 I always go with Bilsteins, and from my experience would advise their shocks as ones that last and drive fine. Before I had bad experience with shocks by KYB, and one leaked in less than four months. I must say though that I prefer sticking to OE height and stock-quality suspension parts and do not really want to go with something super-performance oriented. And for regular drive, Bilsteins are pretty much ok.

I've had both H&R coils and Eibach pro street S, and I prefer the Eibachs (I'm sure I read they were essentially KWs somewhere?).

They're comfortable for coilovers, especially set at a sensible height (-40mm for me).

I run bc's and am really suprised how comfy they are considering how low I am running them. Plus you have damper adjustment.
Have used a few different setups shocks and lowering springs and some other coilovers and prefer the bc's although I have never used kw, h&r, bilstein.
Bc's do everything I could ask for though so no need to spend the extra money personally
