So here it is

This is my first Audi project, i had been through big power Supras, Skylines, etc etc.First "fun" car in 7 years, so will be nice to get started again. The reason for my love for the Audi this time, is age (grown older       ) and the fact that i can actually use the car on the road as a daily driver   I've been watching the B5 scene for some time, and i will try to do things a little bit different than most do it, love to do things different

Now to the car:

Its a 2000 S4 Automatic from the states, first imported to Germany by an American moving there. 3 years ago it was then imported to Denmark, and was never taxed or put on plates. The reason i bought this car (why an automatic??) is i have had problems finding a facelift to a good price, and then this showed up, and don't worry it will be manual

First job on the car will be getting it ready for MOT and TAX, then some fresh paint on it, i think this will be all i will do for this summer, engine and drivetrain will be in the winter.

Getting the suspension fixed
Removed the suspension, steam cleaned the wheel aches, sanded it, gave it epoxy primer, epoxy paint and then finished spaying it with some under-guard protection or what you call it

Yanks always find it difficult to change gear themselves, while on their phones and drinking a shake and eating a burger and playing with the radio.

Nice project!
It think it's only an emission thing indeed.
The manual ones also do not have gearbox cooling, did the auto box have any oil lines connected to the radiator?

Was pointing out that the manual S4's with the APB engine don't have gearbox oil cooling through the radiator.
Manual S4's with the AGB engine indeed have it.

I followed an american guide to take out the engine and got stuck at taking off the radiator
